FOCUSING ON SUCCESS: BASKETBALL LEAGUE
A partnership between The City of Akron Recreation Department and Ren1010 Sports has been developed in order to offer elementary and middle school age children the opportunity to engage in a co-ed basketball league that will be offered during the months of October through January. The focus on the basketball league is team building and the importance of building friendship relationships with others. It will be highly emphasized to the children enrolled in this basketball league that education is important and one should not solely try to achieve playing sports (high school, neither amateur nor professional) without having an education as a contingency plan. Each child involved in this program will receive a Ren1010 Sports basketball t-shirt, certificate and trophy as memorabilia for participation.

CHEERLEADING: NEEDED!!!!!!!!!
Elementary and Middle School age children will have the opportunity to engage in cheerleading during the basketball and football seasons. There will be 10 cheerleaders to each team. Cheerleading try-outs will be held in order to ensure the best are picked to represent the 8 teams. Each child involved in this program will receive a Ren1010 Sports cheerleading t-shirt, certificate and trophy as memorabilia for participation.
